I don't buy as many products as I used to. I pretty much stick to what works and if a product I have been eyeing is on sale, like a really good sale, then I might buy it. So what you see above are my staple products that I use on daily, weekly or monthly basis.
From left to right:
Jane Carter Solutions - Creamy Conditioning Cleanser :
I use this to cleanse my hair bi-weekly. It's very moisturizing and my hair/scalp gets fairly clean.
Design Essentials - Almond & Avocado Moisturizing & Detangling Sulfate Free Shampoo :
I use this shampoo after removing long term protective styles. Although it is sulfate free, it does a really good job cleansing my hair and scalp.
Aphogee - Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer :
A long time ago, I realized the crown of my hair was breaking. Because of that, I decided to incorporate a light protein leave-in after each wash. This works great for me because it's not a heavy protein treatment, but leaves my hair feeling strong and soft.
Eden Body Works - Natural Leave In Conditioner :
This is something I incorporated into my regimen about 3 months ago. I use this after spraying my hair with the Aphogee Restructurizer. It leaves my hair feeling so soft, moisturized and gives me a lot of definition. I love it and will continue to repurchase.
Eden Body Works - Natural Curl Defining Creme :
This is my staple moisturizer. It works great on my hair and the jar lasts a long time. I use this a few times a week when my hair is loose.
Raw African Shea Butter :
I have been using Shea-butter in my hair for about 6-7 years now. This is what I use to seal in the moisture and to sometimes lay down my edges.
Shea Moisture - Deep Treatment Masque :
I have used this DC for years now, but only buy it when it's on sale. So I have to stretch it at times.
It works great for my hair and it's nice and thick. I know a lot of people are boycotting Shea Moisture after the recent fiasco, but because of that, I think a lot of their products are going on sale. I recently picked this up for like $8 :-) :-)
Let me know if you want some detailed reviews on any of the above products.
What are some of your favorite hair products?
