I do the L.O.C moisturizing method(Water/AVJ, Shea-butter mix or Coconut Oil, Shea Moisture CES) about twice a week and my hair stays very moisturized. At night, I either put my hair in 6 bantu-knots or 6 twists to keep it semi-stretched. In the morning, if I need to, I will lightly moisturize and seal. It is actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I spend 10-15 minutes total(AM &PM) on my hair daily.
My hair styling is simple. Here are a few ways I have been wearing it. Hopefully, with time, I will become more creative when it comes to styling loose hair.
Hope you have a great week!!
Congrats on your "anti-protective style* summer regimen!

Haha, I like that term. Thank you!
DeleteI'm hoping this will prove that extremely kinky hair(I guess 4C) can retain length without protective styles.
Thank you for sharing your update, this is something I have been struggling with for a little while!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteI feel like a lot of us do. I'm sure you won't be struggling with this for much longer.
Very creative! You have shown so many different styles!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! :-)
DeleteYour hair is so thick. Love it. I love how creative you are with your styles for the most part they seem to be up and low manipulation so you shouldn't have any issues. I'm enjoying my twist outs this summer as well because winter for me is all PS styling all the time.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm working on the creativity, lol.
DeleteYeah, sometimes you have to just let your hair loose. I'm with you on PS styling for the winter.
Hope all is well :-)
