Twists Update- Week 4

It has been 4.5 weeks since I have had these twists in my hair.

To switch things up a little, I decided to curl them on Saturday.

To achieve the curls, I twisted the twists then rolled each twist with a perm rod.

I then dipped them in hot water, waited for them to dry then removed the perm rods.

To sleep, I just pineapple my hair.

I have decided to keep these in for 8 weeks, so I have about 3 weeks left to go.

I may or may not red-do the front. I guess it all depends on how I feel.

I haven’t washed them yet, but I did clean my scalp with witch hazel and a q-tip. I will probably wash them this weekend.  I have been keeping these super moisturized though by spraying(with braid spray) nightly then sometimes sealing with oil.

I must say that I like these twists better than single braids. Even though the parts aren’t neat, I still like how they look.
